Hummus Versions

Ingredients:

Hummus Ingredients

Traditional:

  • 500 gr of chickpeas
  • 3 tablespoons tahinaplato de hummus servido
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • A pinch of cumin
  • 1 large garlic clove

Peppers:

  • 500 gr of chickpeas
  • 200 gr of roasted peppers
  • 2 tablespoons tahina
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • A pinch of cumin
  • 1 large garlic clove

Curry:

  • 500 gr of chickpeas
  • 3 tablespoons tahina
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • A pinch of cumin
  • 1 large garlic clove

Hummus Elaboration:

The procedure will be the same for all three versions.

  1. Add all the ingredients in the processor and crush until a homogeneous paste.
  2. If we see that it is very thick, add a little water until the desired consistency is achieved.
  • For the hummus of peppers we can use some rosemary flavor oil and even use this hummus as an accompaniment to some meat.
  • In the curry version we will use chili oil to accentuate the spicy; It is ideal accompanied by pita bread, jasmine rice and tandoori chicken.
